iOS 13.4 beta 5 was released today for all developer accounts. The public beta should also be released later today or tomorrow for non-dev account holders. On the iPhone 11 Pro Max, the update came in at around 118 MB. A sizeable update, full of beta fixes.
The build number for this update is “17E5255a”. The “a” at the end signifies that the final version should be released in the next week or so. Meaning that 13.4 should be released to the public in 2-3 weeks.
Though this update does not include any new modem updates, previous versions of this beta have, and many people are reporting significant improvement for both cellular and WiFi usage.
If you experienced bugs in iMessage, those are said to be fixed. As well as issues with the home screen rotation function (Only on plus-size models). No notifications are getting locked up around the device, and freezing in settings has been resolved.
In “Find My”, there is now a blank box under the me section on a few devices. This could mean nothing and just be a bug, but it is possible this means a new feature will be joining this section.
Though this is a relatively small update. There are many issues that have been fixed over many devices. Making iOS 13 more and more stable as more updates are released.
