Yesterday at Apple’s event, we saw many new products. We saw new iPhones and iPads, and some little odds and ends have also been announced. The most centered devices were the iPhones, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
For starters, the iPhone 11 is a new iPhone similar to last years iPhone Xr, with colors and one less camera. This year, two new colors were introduced were green and purple, green being a mint color. Like the iPhone X and XS, they all share the same cameras, however the 11 shares a new design in the camera department. The iPhone 11 shares a similar aluminum and glass sandwich, moving the Apple logo to the middle of the phone.
Second off, the iPhone 11 Pro introduces some new features to a “pro” market, however I believe it is just an iPhone XS successor, not being a “pro” model at all. The only obvious pro features are the cameras, capturing some pretty breathtaking cinematic photos compared to the iPhone 11. The new Midnight Green color is liked by some, hated by others. For those who dislike the color, the gold, silver, and space gray options are still available.
This year’s event was disappointing for some, while breathtaking for others. Personally, I believe you should only upgrade if you have an iPhone 8 or below. If you have a X, XR, XS, or XS Max, I would wait on next year’s iPhone, rumored to have even more changes than this year, which I would personally do as a XS user.
